I finally got the motor out today. The tranny is still in the car. If I just tighten up the tranny mount bolts again is that enough to hold the tranny in place while I roll the car in/out of the shed? I would try and tie it up with one of the bellhousing bolt holes but I can't find a place to tie it to. Thanks.
From: GA "When I grow up, I'm gonna get a Trans Am and run from the cops". Direct quote from my 4yo son.
Get a 2x4 and some good fender covers with a little bit of wire. 2x4 across the fenders with wire going through a mount hole in the trans. Not pretty but functional. I've done it w/ no problems.

If its an automatic I would remove the torque convertor and as 69camfrk said support it with 2x4's and wire or strong rope because most of the weight is up front on an automatic
Yes, its an automatic. Does the torque converter just slide off? Thanks for the help. This is more fun than I thought it would be. I have got the motor out of the car and no real problems. Thanks to all the help from this forum.
