Off topic is poling again

You would not have bought a corvette in the first place if you thought any of them were junk... this is all about personal preference, with doesnt mean crap to anyone else.
I declare a ban on this poll, and he who started it, and he who started any other poll like this is a loser.
(by the way, my personal preferance rates C4's as least desirable.... but again, thats personal preference... shouldnt matter to anyone else.)

what the hell is wrong with you. did you escape a mental hospital. i could sit here and list all the crap the broke on my c4 in a 2 year period and i bought it with 65k and sold it with 88k.
for as long as the corvette was built your bound to run into a few that arnt that good and especially since a lot of the corvettes use new parts or features not offered by chevy before. get over it and grow up.
bad feeling between owners, and they ultimately serve no useful purpose.
It doesn't matter how many miles are on an OLD car ... it will always have old car problems.
Across generations: technology will cure many issues, but also create new ones.
IMO - 84/85 gave a bad name to C4s. I'd like a late C4 vert, myself.
Now, a crappy C5 or C6 ... no excuses there, I guess.
Look at warranty records for C5s ... unbelievable.

however the C4 I have now, and for the past 11 years has given me virtually NO problems, this is why I state that this poll BLOWS!!
You cannot judge an entire generation, and hundreds of thousands of cars because some of them give you fits.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I'm sure I can get many more from my friend at Hillcrest Chevy.
Here is the waranty history of a C5 that a friend of a friend was considering (snipped from email) :

Holy Crap!I was curious so I took a quick look on MSN Autos. They have some reliability history for these cars (back to the C4's). Not looking to bash one model year over another, just some interesting info is all..
C5 - http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Re...ette&trimid=-1
C4 (back to 1998) - http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Re...ette&trimid=-1

Some of the guys making comments in that poll dont clearly dont know much about the C3 gen.
Somebody said the C3 was worst on horsepower.
Id like see some of those guys line up with a L71 or L88
...hell even through 74 you could get 250hp in a small block or 270hp in a big block with good torque.
It does hurt peoples feelings when they hear this year or that is the worst vette ever made and that's the year they own.
It's a waste of time IMHO as is my posting this I guess

I have been told that if it gets wet it is probably toast and expensive to replace.
