Corvette vs Camaro.....
A Bobby Orr rookie card was worth nothing when it was first made.
It came free with a pack of gum.
Now they sell for up to $4000.
Imagine that you could trade 6-7 of these printed cards for a 72 Corvette!
Does that make any sense at all?
Why is that card worth more than the other cards that came in that pack of gum?
Because that's the one people want.
Same with Vettes and Camaros.
You want it for 3k?
That's about what I think its worth.
But some guys seem to thinks they're worth thousands.
Makes no sense to me.

Corvette has a certain connotation. Most people think I must be rich to have my '75, when in fact it's cheaper than a new civic (but probably not more dependable
). It's all about perception. Lots of people want Camaros right now, maybe because more people can closesly identify with them than they could a Vette. But after the baby boomers go, then the market will drop again and that's when I'll buy a '69 Camaro
