I've been driving my C3 a long time and almost always with the t-top off and the windows down. At highway speed, on a no-wind day, the air passes over the windscreen and over the top. However, when there is a wind that is coming from the left side relative to the direction of the car, there is quite a blast of air that hits me right in the face. I'd like to have a way to reduce this without having to roll the window all the way up. I think the older corvettes with "wrap around" windshields didn't have this problem. Does someone make a triangular piece of plexiglass that can be inserted in the corner between the top of the door and the window pillar? Or maybe a wind deflector that temporarily attaches to the window pillar?
Thanks,
that's a convertible for you! Gotta admit, that's a nice problem to have. Most people buy a vette for the looks, and I wouldn't want some janky looking aftermarket contraption stuck to my car to keep "wind" out. That's what windows are for. I've found that with the t-tops off, wearing a baseball cap helps keep some wind out of the eyes, but not much else. The wind in the face is the reason the vert was designed in the first place.

Remember those strap on mirrors your parents would put on the station wagon so you could see to back up the Airstream, those might work.
I wear glasses and keep a baseball cap in the back. Since I ussually don't drive in the same direction for that long, if a cross wind gets too bad I just roll up my window until I change direction.
