Default Another Erractic Temp Gauge...
The temp gauge in my 71 takes about 20 minutes to come off the peg and then v e r y s l o w l y continues to increase. Only after an hour does it ever get to 190. I replaced the sending unit and got same results. I removed connection and touched it to the block and the gauge pegged instantly. Any thoughts?

Appreciate the help.

Did you test it after it was already hot and turned it off and back on?

mmmm....no, I haven't tried that one yet. Sounds like a good test though. Saturday is my next roadtrip. Do you have any thoughts on what it might be?
