I have a 69 and according to the C3 registry it was born on/around April 2, 1969. The last five digits of the vin is 20740. Is this considered an early or late model 69? Thanks

Neither. I'd say she was mid production. There were a total of 38,762 '69s built so your consecutive unit number is about half way through production. At the least, she was built before the strike!

My '69 convertible was built just about a year before your car (I20 for her).

I was just curious if it would be considered an early or late cus there are some differences between early and late if I'm not mistaken, for example didnt the gas tank change from 15 to 20 gallon for the late model?
