Advice on checking out a C3 please?
I've made a deal on a 1978 Pace Car. I've checked the VIN and verified it's a true PC, with the L82 Engine. I'm having the local Chevrolet Dealership give it a thorough inspection tomorrow morning, and if they give it the green light, I'm flying out next week to check it out in person and probably purchase it. I'm not new to Corvettes, but I am new to the C3. Anything particular to the car you guys could advise me on checking? Any suggestions or advice appreciated!

Where is the car? Rust on the frame at the kickups in front of the rear wheels, and on the windshield frame is the worst of it. Take a look at the Bubba factor, lots of them been "Breathed on"

ahhhh, that Pace Car sans decals in Ohio? Congrats, that's a sharp ride and I'm pretty sure you got a good deal, especially if you got the guy to come down a little ;-). Drove a Silver Anniv yesterday myself, and just like the decals-off pace car look a little better.
