I saw a truck made my Mercury once that was only made in Canada. I think it's cool that our home brands make cars elsewhere that differ from ours in a way that I wish they were available.

Dodge also made a Durango type Ram a few years ago in Mexico. It was their full size SUV based off the Ram instead of the Dakota. It looked cool, but you couldn't get it here...just in Mexico.
I had a 54 Mercury M100 that was great! At car shows, it would raise a lot of discussion with our American friends. Most onlookers thought it was a modified F100 and wouldn't buy into the "M" designation.

As for the Corvette line, I don't believe the were built in Canada, but we have a lot of them out there. Finding clean rust free parts is another issue. The southern cars rule in this area!!

Did you post a 'Frame needed' post in the C3 parts section? You'll likely find a frame very close to you. I can do a parts search for you on a network I have access to if you send me your zip code. I may be able to find you a cheap rust free frame close to you. Just PM me the info.

That's still like $600 in freight from Texas to that far north. Maybe less if they don't pallet it, and just thow it in a truck.

Frames for older C3s are getting harder to find. I sent a request for a 72 frame to the link you posted earlier and received 0 responses from the vendors. WTB frame requests in the C3 Parts section usually die without any responses also. 74-79 frames are more available and more reasonably priced.

Rick B.

What mods are involved with using a later C3 frame on an early C3? I wouldn't think there would be too much to change.
