Trans Question...

Anyone heard of an outfit called "Gear Star Performance Transmissions, Inc.(www.gearstar.net)" They are advertising a TH350 "Chevy 350 Level 2 - 400 HP with 1800-2000 Stall HD Furnace Brazed High Performance Converter" for $1095 & about $150 delivered to my door. Sound about right or any recomendations?

Check with Mad Dog transmissions out of Florida. They have a website and a ebay account running specials all the time.

I gave around $ 800.00 shipped for my 700r4 with a shift kit and a high stall torque convertor.

I agree go with a transmission with overdrive sinceyour buying a new one anyways.....makes a huge difference

Sounds great... What mods need to be made to the mounts to get it to fit? Is there any driveline cutting involved?
