Google is your friend: http://www.idavette.net/facts.htm

That serial number can't be from a '69, according to that page.

194379S700001 through 194379S738762
69 vettes
mine is194379S30133
ive been told by other vintage vette owners that looking at the options it was kinda rare.
radio delete. 350 HP 350 cu inch motor with factory aluminum valve covers.
i also found out the rear is 3:93
wish i had found a definative source for all the info on this car.
also where else can i find the VIN?
I got those numbers from the dash on the drivers side.

You're missing a "7" in the VIN you typed.

You have the 30133rd 69 made. Pretty late.

The VIN will tell you nothing about the options.

No 3.93 rears available. 3.70 maybe. 3.55 or 4.11 maybe??

The trim plate is located on the front door jamb on the drivers side door. Open the door and look in the front. It was riveted on. Was not be painted originally, but it could have been painted over if the car was redone.

That tag will have the ext color and interior trim, as well as the "body built date code" stamped into it.

What specific thing do you want to know? Chuck

54-80 Corvettes were assembled at St. Louis, Missouri. 81 Corvettes were assembled at St. Louis (most) and Bowling Green, KY. Since 82, all Corvettes have been assembled at Bowling Green.

Trim Tag is on the driver's door hinge post. It will list the factory codes for the original interior trim color, exterior paint color, and the time/build date (upper right corner of the tag).

Your '69 was probably assembled in September, 1969.
