That is the question.. I have a set of broken mirrored glass t-tops but the frames are still good along with the hardware I have taken off what hardware I can but the question is are the frames worth keeping or are they not worth the troouble and just pitch them.

thats what ebay is for.....someone bought my one good top and broken top.....there was full disclosure and pictures....I couldn't believe anybody would want them
I can't recall at the moment which one it is but I do remember a glass top company advertising that they buy damaged tops. If I get a lucid moment today and remember I'll repost the name.
I know Thompson Astro Tops is always looking for frames. They replace the glass with acrylic and sell them as cheaper alternatives. You might be able to call them.
coupla years ago I sold some to a place in Walden N.Y. that dealt in Corvettes, I dont know if they are there anymore,or even in business, it was Corvette Specialities, got around $125.00 bux for em
they definelty will fetch a price on ebay even with brokern glass...usually around $100 each. when I got new tops, I went right to the factory and I thought he would give me a trade in on the old ones, as they were fully refurbished with M1131 glass, although cracked. He laughed and showed me his shelf and said he had more frames than he could deal with. He said years ago tops were stolen like crazy as guys would steal a set and then cut the hole and trim it our fairly cheap. Nowadays he said T-tops are common and very few are ever stolen. In other words theya re cheap enough to buy so the risk of stealing isn;t worth it. The bottom line is the tops are common, but dont; throw any old part away. It amazes me what old parts fetch.
