Default TT's or Crager SS?

I've been looking at possibly upgrading my wheels from the cragers it has on there, to TT's or Crager SS's...I love the look of the cragers that are on there now, but i think if i went with a 16-17" Crager SS/TT it would be a really nice "modern" sort of look with a classic look as well....and, i love the way TT's look on these corvettes!

I've never seen the Crager SS's in person, or have seen the slight differences between the cragers and the TT's, but, i can get the Crager's actually for about the same price as the TT's in a 17x8.

Whatya guys think? Also..how much are these cragers/tires worth? The wheels are in GREAT shape! and the tires are BFG Radial T/A's with like 400 miles on em.

I believe the price difference between the American Racing TTs and the Cragar SSs is due to the TTs being alloy and the Cragars being steel......I think...........

TTs should be lighter.............I think...........

They're about the same price...give or take 10-15 bucks i think

and...i knew the TT's were aluminum, but assumed the cragers were too...they're steel? if so...i definitly won't be looking at them

The cragers i have on right now are aluminum aren't they? and..i figured the TT's would be a lil bit lighter than the cragers i have now because of less material?

I ordered mine thru an auhorized dealer, when they came in I flipped em over and there it was "made in china"
I'm just saying to check them out they looked perfect
Apparantly Cragars are a favorite to copy
btw I too couldn't decide betwwen ss & tt, side by side I went with chrome but they do need to be polished often where the al are more maintenance free I'm told-I still like the chrome - I'll find time to polish
ss- steel rim with al center, need the spacers
tt- al and a lot lighter, direct fit
Bill
nice car btw

Ok..well i'll just stick w/ the TT then, didn't know for sure what they were made of...i'd rather avoid the spacers if possible...thanks!

Also..it's super nice, i feel in love with it at first sight, only chance i had to drive it was the test drive, next time i'll be able to drive it is in april when i come home on R&R from Iraq
