steering box leak
I posted in a thread about my car and mentioned having a leak in the steering gear box, and was told to use transx. I have transx, but will I have to bleed anything after applying this, and totally ignorant where on the gear box can this be added? Is it the top bolt on the right side? THanks in advance.

I think if they recommended Trans-X they might have thought you were talking about the ps control valve.If your talking about the pitman arm seal at the bottom of the steering gear-I fill the gear with #1 chassis grease-remove 2 of the bolts in top of gear and remove coupler from your grease gun and insert threaded end in gear and pump it until grease comes out other bolt hole-check again in a week or so and do again if needed.
