What's a good muffler to replace a existing standard mufflers? I just installed headers. The system is dual 2 1/4"od pipe and has no catalytic converters. Engine is a some what stock 350 set-up
I am looking for a deep throaty sound an some volume when throttle is punched.
Went with dynamax on my Z-28. They IMO are the best sounding mufflers I have put on a car...ever. Could be the motor helpng though. It's a 430 horse 350.
I installed Flowmaster Delta Series 50 on my car last spring. They give the car a nice low rumble at idle. Nothing loud or obnoxious. They also sound great when you stomp on the gas and really rev it up. I think they're a nice balance of being aggressive but not annoying.
I have the Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers. They have a nice low rumble at idle. When you get on it through the gears they make some noise like the old glass packs did. At cruising speeds you can still talk to someone sitting in the car.
