Under Body Retainers
Hi Folks,
I've been spending a lot of time under my new 73 getting it ready to remove the body. Rust, Rust, Rust!! While under there, I've notice a lot of small sheet metal brackets and retainers that I asume are used to fasten interior pieces through the floor. Unfortunately, most of these pieces are badly rusted, broken or missing all together. This being my first corvette, I'm not sure what all the pieces are or what they should all look like. I've been through the Eklers and Zip catalogs under "Body and Related" but have not been able to identify the parts.
Can anyone tell me if there is a kit available to replace these pieces or should I be salvaging the remnants to fabricate new ones?
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
