Can we get this paint and body forum up and running before I'm done with all my bodywork and paint ??
Until then I keep posting my questions in 'general' - got great responses so far

Time to bump this up to the top again.
It has been discussed again in the C4 forum as well since someone else bumped it back up a couple of days ago.
Nothing has been done by the steering committee.

Being a new member here, a paint/body forum would be of great interest.

Come on folks, this is a great idea! I'm down to bare fiberglass and need to start making some plans. Do I want to gel coat? Do I HAVE to? Can I just use a primer/filler? Or do I want a primer/sealer?
I'm a fair mechanic, but I'm clueless when it comes to paint, especially when it's SMC and not sheet metal.
