Default 1968 rear window storage

I have a 1968 Coupe with the removable rear window. I bought the car a few years ago. The previous owner restored the car but never installed the rear window storage tray. I have the tray and it is in good shape. Can anyone tell me how to install it? Is it bolted or riveted in? Does the front edge sit on the wheel wells or should there be a bracket to hold it up? Some pictures would really help. Thanks!

It should be bolted in with hinges. When in use it is folded down and when not in use it is folded up and held in place with a clip.

Thanks for the info. The front clip is facing forward so I assume there should be another one facing to the rear to hold the tray on. I have searched to parts but there are non to be found. I guess I will have to make something up. Do you have a picture of what it should look like?
Thanks Again.

No pic, but the 68 assembly manual should show all the pieces needed and how to install.

Beneja,
The clip you speak of should be facing toward the rear (not forward) so that it catches the lip of the tray when it is in the raised position.
e-mail me your e-mail address if you still need pictures and I will take some of my 68 coupe and send them to you as attachments.
