Default HELP will these fit?

i got a chance to get a new shift console(not the shift plate) and drivers side lower dash and gauges (speedo &tach) but they are from a 1972 coupe and mine is a 1975 coupe....will the fit? thnx again guys for any and all help

Your tach in the '75 is electronic and the '72 is mechanical so it won't work unless you replace the distributor too. I would think there are too many differences between those years.

I looked in my after market parts catalog and it shows that the 72-76 shift console is the same part number.

The 1970 and 1971 have different part numbers for them, and the 77 style changed completely.

So from the catalog it should be the same.

Got AC in the '75? I'm thinking there is a little AC vent at the position of the driver's right knee on the '75s (had one in my '74). The earlier cars may not have had this vent.

hey guy mine didnt have any vents or gholes for 1 in the console,but did in the gauge thing as does the 1 im looking at,but thnx ill keep it in mind....man i saw a beautiful 81 today,that use to be a coupe and he made it into a convert. hardtop im going to try and get some pics of it next wk. thnx bb

hey guy u were right i went back and double checked and my lower dash that holds the speedo &tach does have a vent in it, and the 72 does not,so i think ill hold off on that piece and just get the console,it looks the same...thnx again bb
