Default E-Brake Cover

Hi Guys,

I'm having trouble removing the plastic emergency brake cover from the console. I've removed the front screws, but something is still holding it at the back. Can anyone tell me if there are more hidden screws or are there internal clips that pull apart. I was afraid to pull too hard in case I broke something.

There is a bolt that has to be removed from the reinforcement bracket. You can gain access to the bolt through the rear storage compartment.

On the rear storage comp removal, if you remove the screws from the center one's hinge, will that center comp. come out, or do you have to remove the whole stinkin' thing? I need to replace my PB cover too. Thanks..............

I didn't remove any of the storage compartment doors, I just removed the tray from the jack storage compartment which gave access to bolt.

If you want to get the center compartment tray out, you would have to remove the whole storage door assembly.

Thanks for the tip. I got the piece off last night and the bolt was right where you said it would be. The hard part was removing the rusted screws from the tray and covers. Rust!! When will it end - arg!!!
