How many yards will I need?
Probably a 1/2 yd more then you'll order. Measure your depth real closely. A 1/2" difference could be a real problem. May be a good idea to order a little extra. Form up a step, walkway, etc. to use the extra if you have any.

Good point...

form up a pad or step to use up the extra... Its a real bit*c if you run short.

We used to keep some empty used 5gal pails around with a supply of 1/2" eye bolts with nuts and washers to use up the excess concrete. Makes great semi mobile tiedowns... If you wanna get the concrete out of the forms you can spray a little K-1 Kero and the forms will pop off...

dont forget to tap/vibrate the forms to get out air pockets where the edges will be exposed...
