This is really a C2 issue (on a 67), but since C2s and C3s share brake systems I thought I'd try to elicit ideas here as well. My car pulls to the right under heavy braking. This is a broblem that came on suddenly. I assume that the problem stems with my left caliper.
1. Both front calipers have previously been modified for the stainless sleeve inserts.
2. There are no leaks anywhere in the system.
3. There is plenty of brake pad left in both front calipers and the rotors are round.
4. I bleed the left front caliper. There were no air bubbles and the fluid flow from the caliper was fine.
Where do I go from here? My next step is to take the caliper off to see if there is any binding of the caliper's pistons. Any suggestions?

It sounds like a collapsed brake hose. They may appear OK visually but they do fatigue from the inside and collapse under braking preventing the brake fluid from passing through. It would probably be the front brake hose on the side opposite the direction it is pulling.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. I do have a question though, how does a brake hose "collapse"? Seems to me that the pressure from the inside would prevent (or at least negate) a collapse. What specifically is happening to the hose itself? Thanks again for the responses.
check your upper and lower control arm end cap bolts, i lost the end bolt on my lower driver control arm and it caused my car to pull to the left especially during braking, check all your control arm bolts when you change your oil. good habit
Sometimes a brake flex line (which is made of layers of rubber and reinforcing string like a steel belted radial is) can have the inside layer come loose and impede brake fluid flow.
