Putting a 468 in my vet. Have a short pump and pulleys. I have no idea what to do for brackets. Does not have to be original. Would at least like to know what to buy.
I have no idea about the brackets that you currently have on hand. Just go to the web site I put up and compair what you have to what is there.
You did not mention if you have power steering or not? But you can get a kit for power steering as the link I posted or a kit without power steering as well.
The kit they have is cheap really. Since you do have the very expensive parts already. A new Water pump pulley if you can find one will run $250.oo and up just for that one pulley. Whewwwwwww
I dont know what year the car is but the brackets you show are for 68 and earlier, and also correct for the short pump. These are mounted on the left side. Classic Camaro has the same brackets for 67-68 BB Camaros and are identical for Vettes pus normally much cheaper for the same part. If you dont believe me check my "Corvette Pictures" on the left. I believe some are shown.
just put a 427 short water pump in my impala. the bottom brkts are for alternator(driver side) and the top brkts are for power strng. the slotted chrome alt brkt most likely won't fit if its aftermarket.
