so sad. Usually when i see a vette like that I hope some father and son pick it up and try to restore it together, but dang, there is going to be a lot of TLC for that.
The biggest thing I would be worried about would be the frame. If that's bad, it isn't worth $50, and he isn't including the motor, or tranny, but can be had for additional money? Maybe if it was a big block car.....
I look at that and then I look at Dads 69 at his place and say there is not a chance in hell for that car. That thing is a turd. I like the part that the engine, trans and shifter are not included, so what do you get? not much, though if your resourceful and have connections there might be some worth to the original equipment still left on it.
I look at that old girl and immediately begin thinking what she'd need to get back on the street. Lots of work there, but also a lot of potential. That's a desirable car.
It's a coupe; first year for the t-top in a year when convertibles outsold coupes. Optional head rests. 4 speed. Original interior with most of the very hard to find one-year-only goodies.
Hit very hard.
Why the '69 taillights?
Definitely a project with a capital P.
If she were closer to home, I'd give serious thought to going after her.

Parts? What parts is he talking about? The 4sp shifter ****. If you pulled that thing out of its grave it would turn into a pile of rust dust and blow away in the wing.
