But how much of it is actually constructive, or informative?

Most I see is worthless crap... such as this post.

No harm intended. Just pulling your chain.

Wish I had more time to work on the vet and post more...I'm a desk jockey without a lot of opportunity to think about the fun stuff...

So from my perspective, don't confuse all the crap that you're getting with jealousy!

It's in General, so threads are more likely to get off track.

When I'm in Tech I try to stay on target and as informative as I can. I do my best to offer new info, or fresh questions to inspire new info in threads in Tech.

I saw it. I'm at my garage computer right now. I was installing the new distributor in the 400, and finishing up the timing cover. next is the water pump, and I'll begin cleaning up the accessory brackets and bolting them on. I'm fast because I have multiple wireless access point wherever I am, in my house or shop.

I fix other people's cars, and do lots of custom work. Pays very well. Best part is I make my own schedule, and probably only work 20 hours a week.

That's actually a really cool job, and while mine may seem mroe free, I bet your job comes with a lot more perks. I do envy you...as I"ve always enjoyed the technical engineering fields.
