My OP gauge works but is registering too low (verified with mechanical gauge).
I want to be able to test the resistance of the sending unit properly but am not getting a reading with the voltmeter
thanks

Your using the wrong meter, you want to test the resistance to ground. The sender does not generate electric current. The higher the pressure the greater the resistance. If you ground the oil pressure sender wire your guage needle should go to zero. Good luck.
Thanks- I checked Resistance at the wiring harness for the gauges and it fluctuates as I rev it up.
This leaves either my gauge or PCB as the reason why I don't register enough Oil pressure. Anyone have some input on this one?
thanks
