Default "75 Heater Core Replacement

My 75 C3 needs a new heater core. I have a new core and the old one has already been taken out by somone else years ago and I cant find where and how the new one goes in? Do they have gaskets? and if so where can I get new ones for a good price. Any links or pics would be great.

From what I gather (and clearly hope LOL) if its an air conditioning car its much more complicated.....

I believe wiki.corvettefaq.com has a writeup on a 76 or 77 without a/c that makes it look simple......if our 75 is that simple, I'll be a very happy boy when it comes time to do ours.

Aside from that, Ive read on vaious cars' heater cores you get what you pay for on replacement heater cores, and some folks even have a radiator shop resolder the ends where they meet the core. I guess if the car is gonna be a bear I'd consider doing that.

Edit; it was a 79 in the corvettefaq.....the blower housing seems the same though......a guy can hope lol.
