Quadra-Jet on either a Edelbrock Performer 2101 or Weiand Action Plus 8004. Q-Jet is a great carb when tuned properly.

A more cost effective intake manifold is the Professional Products Cyclone. It's basically a Chinese Edelbrock performer copy.

Best Performer 2101 is previous (2nd) which has the Edelbrock logo directly behind the thermostat housing on the valley cover, rather than on the passenger side runner as on the current design.

600 CFM or Q-J.
You might find this interesting. CARBS Tests TQ/HP.

The 2701 EPS is about 1/4 inch taller for square bore carbs.
