SRIII/LS6 - Engine is in
thats going to be the the ultimate C3 but you could buy a new Z06 with the $$$ you'll have in it.
Not to mention that its good advertising. B: I'll bet a new Z06 (stock) will have trouble keeping up.
C: When you open the hood of a Z06, for the most part, they all look good, but the same (LS6 or LS7). When you open the hood on this, it will be a little different.
For some reason I enjoy the building more than the driving or owning. I sold my 78 SA shortly after restoring it, my 34 Ford right after finishing it, my 63 Fuelie a few weeks after finishing it and getting a Top Flight, and I finished my 72 LT1 last week and sold it Saturday (need to update sig).
My wife gets attached and doesn't understand how I can spend all this time and money on a project then sell it as soon as it's done."Is that a Custom frame?"
Yes: http://www.sriiimotorsports.com/
"Looking good Joe. Are you doing anything special with the body or is it going to look relatively stock?"
Scooter, If mine looks anything like yours when done I'll be VERY happy. The engine compartment will be painted the same silver metallic as the frame. The body will be blue with a silver stripe down it (sound similar!), but there will be no flared fenders. I'm tubbing it instead. I plan to run either 17-20" wheels and low profile tires. That is still to be determined.
Thanks again all!
