Default Exhaust Manifold Help

I need to buy some exhaust manifolds for my '76 to replace the headers that came with it. My question is this: What is the copper tubing that hooks into the manifold called? I can only find manifolds that don't have this piece installed, but I am going to need it in order to pass the smog test.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you asking about the AIR equipment?

I've heard them called smog tubes (logical, huh), you'll also need an air pump (belt-driven), a diverter valve, and I think some other miscellaneous hardware.

I think you'll spend the least on the best parts at a salvage yard, most of the components except the manifolds were used on millions of vehicles.

Default Not intended to Hijack the thread

I have looked everywhere to find a set of the A.I.R. tubes for my 80 and finally said the heck with it. I have plugs in the holes as we don't have any emission requirements in my state. I would like to buy a set myself and keep them with everything I removed from my car, just in case I ever give it to one of my sons. they live in California and would need to have everything that the smog natzi's require.. If anyone finds a source for the correct tubes for a 1980, please post the source or pm me. I bought a used set on evel bay, but they are a bit grim. I guess I could get by with them if need be, but I would really like new ones. Sorry, I didnt mean to hijack the thread.
