Do you guys still operate the door during the winter...or do you just leave it shut? I'm planning on opening the door almost everyday because I keep my other car in there...looks like you guys keep your other cars outside in the cold; or am I wrong?
the Vette is the only car kept in the garage. I need the rest of the space for tools and other toys I keep a pc in the garage, several guitars, and weights so it is basically my "man room".
mine is insulated and has its own heat pump for heating/cooling. I try to keep it between 65 and 72 all year around.
I did mine for the oppsite reason - to keep the heat out but it also keeps it warmer in the winter.
I bought the 4x8 sheets of the double sided aluminum foil with foam in the middle. I think it was 3/8" think. I cut each piece to fit and then used the aluminum foil tape to seal each panel off.
