Does anyone know what this wire goes to. Its in a 1982 crossfire. It is in the top right hand corner of the passenger door.

It could be the Door Lock Anti-Theft Switch.

Dell Boy got you really close but that connector actually plugs into the anti tamper switch.Its the retainer for the door lock.

I've looked really close and I don't see an anti-tamper switch near the lock mechanism. There are some wires attached to the key mechanism, but nothing that looks like that part in Ecklers?????


Here is a shot of the driver's side door-lock mechanism.

those 2 holes in the lock retainer USED to hold onto a small deadman switch guess its gone now dont worry though I have a few used 1s

A couple of used ones from Paul will fix you up.If you dont mind losing the anti-tamper lock popping feature then you can just leave it unplugged.The system is not looped.

I will be calling. While stripping my 78 I noticed someone left mine hanging in the bottom of the door. It was broke of coarse. $49 is crazy.

I also had to replace the T-top switches too.
