Default HELP PLEASE..Susp. rebuild...

I just rebuilt the front end of my 78 with a complete poly bushing kit, new ball joints, springs,ect...ect...

Once I tightened the spindels onto the ball joints the left side moves freely (with little resistance)... the right side however is extremely hard to rotate even with the tie rod disconnected. I did not do anything different than on the left... Could it be a bad ball joint or could I have done something wrong with the installation? I have the wrenches out now and am hoping someone has an idea.

THANKS!!!!!!!!

Did you try greasing the new ball joints yet? I've seen some new ball joints that are stiff right out of the box, try some grease and work it back and forth, it should loosen up.

Well... I figured it out... Last night when I installed the ball joints my buddy apparently got a little anxious with the grease gun... I have never seen this before but when I pulled the zerk fitting on the lower joint & there was a lot of "grease pressure" inside. About a 1/2 ' stream of grease come out & then the joint started to move freely. I have seen grease shoot out the sides of the cups before but never just build up pressure... Does this make any sense to anyone?
