Default how much u think its worth

Ok so i have a 1974 stingray i had it panit like a year ago but the front bumper is messed up ( some one hit it at a mall gaurage). heres the list of things ive done to it

- new ingition switch
- new dvd/stereo system
- new spark plugs/wires
- hooker comp headers
- new exaust (50 series flows)
- new sumit starter
- new powermanster 140amp alt.
- interior redone

things that need to be fix:

-the trannys going out
-none of the gauges work
- for some reason the car drains the battery
- it might need a new front end ( if u know how to fiberglass just re do it)
- and currently the car wont start up( im not sure of the problem)

the speedo says it h as 85000 miles but that hasnt change in the 4 years i have had this car. other than that the car was fun to drive when it was driving and i really hate to sell it but it has exausted me of money and since im a college student i dont have much time to deal with her needs.....so if any one can give me a quick price check on how much i should sell the car for that be great.....thanks for all your help.

"Not running" is tough to sell.
Running, it is somewhere in the 5-10k range.
Not running .. less than 5k.
Significantly less if there are visual issues (front end damage, etc).

In it's current state, it is a project or parts car.

I'd say ebay is your best bet ... but not the most money.
To get more $$ ... you will need to wait for the right buyer to come along
or fix her up to "running" status.

It would be worth it to you to fix a few of the things on that list. Get it running good, work on the gauges, and you'll have a lot more people interested in it. It's good that it has fresh paint and interior, but the stereo and video is not going to impress a lot of potential Vette buyers.

Can you post some pics of this car? Post front, rear, interior, engine, and any damaged areas. How's the suspension and brakes? Bearings and bushings wear right under our noses sometimes.

the little "issues" like gauges etc can be a potentialy large issue..so fix what you can and get her running and fix the draw off the battery issue. Good luck and hope to see you back on your next vette...c3 of course

I have always thought the fun was fixign them...I know the college life takes the budget away but you should hang on to it and finish her up when you graduate and have a good job...you'll always regret selling it.

It can take a long time to chase demons out, so be patient...if you can just store it somewhere dry and get to it after college.

You know the average guy spends at LEAST five years restoring a project. Take the wheels off and let it sit, and when someone asks why you don't drive it say you're restoring the suspension and brakes.
