Is a red Corvette too cliche?

there is a lot of stigma that comes with owning and driving a vette and expecially a C3. Do you think whatever red was supposed to say when they painted the first red vette has been lost or can it still be cool?

what do you think of when you see a nice red corvette? (prince?)

Is a red Corvette too cliche? Absolutely ! I love it !
Just wish it was a BB, like my white one!
Honestly...my favorite all time Vette is "steel cities gray". Couldn't find one when I found these.

Mine’s red. Let’s face it: we that have C1s, C2s, c3s, C4s want to be noticed for the nice cars and the restoration that we have done. Red is an eye catcher. Sort of stands out.

When I went to buy my C3, there were 5 there. Silver, blue, brown, green and red. Boy did the red stand out.

I’m happy.

Not sure of your point, but the first 300 Corvettes were white. Then again, it's been said in more than one place "All Corvettes Are Red."

Resell RED

Most ALL cars that are RED will sell faster than any other color. And like you say RED is noticed much better and the COPS see RED also. You take 2 Vetts racing, one RED and one White and the cop can only get one of them I bet you he gets the RED one!!
