Default here is what i have been doing

since last friday a couple of hours per night and why i have
been asking a few questions here and there.

how it looked when i bought it last year

after i replaced the leaking valve cover gaskets and repainted them

and how it looks as of 10 minutes ago

still have quite a bit left to go but it is starting to look exactly how i envisioned it last year

Looks great, you did this all without pulling the engine? I bet that took time and hard work, nice job. I love the white accents on the valve covers. Nice touch on the master cylinder too, plan on adding that blue to more places in your engine compartment?

HEY you got som-thin against BAMBI??????????

J/K my wife is always throwing away all kinds of items
that really come in handy in the garage.
the sheet covers from the windshield all the way past
the hood.
works a hell of a lot better than the fender cover i have
on the other side.

the indents on the valve covers are actually silver and yeah
i have been doing it without pulling the engine kind of a pain
in the back side but i just cant bring myself to pull what was a
perfectly running engine " before i started anyway" hope its still
like that when i get done.

and optical, that blue is what it came with in 78 so thats why im running with it (yeah, i seen what you wrote before editing)

steve i had already replaced most of the vacuum lines
last december so they are going to stay as is the EGR and carb
heater which will be going back on also.

i also have a brand new Q jet ready to go, its not a Lars carb
but should hold me for now until he gets back in business
after the year lay off or maybe with all the new members
here in NJ we can get another tuning for beer going in central
NJ.
it would be well worth it to me
