How about not putting more than a half tank of gas in your car...theres 55LBS right there.

I have many big friends that weigh over 200# that have ridden with me and I honestly have never even considered any performance loss.
Sorry......... I just dont get it.

Some cars like mine definatly do not make enough vacuum to open them. And instead of buying vacuum pump or some bulky electric set up just do away with the whole thing and save the weight while I am at it. I do like the idea of just lifting them when you need lights. Does this work?

Anyone else thought of doing something like this? Did you come up with a good idea on which light assembly would look good installed in the upper part of the fender?

I personally don’t care for the fixed insert lights and think if it is going to be done then they should be under the bumper or up on the fender.

Late model Celica headlight conversion.
I'm not a big fan, but I think they look pretty good.
I will be keeping my pop-ups.

This would look way bitchen if they had molded the front bumper in. The line where it meets the body is awkward.

Thanks Rosslatto...you were my inspiration for sure. I used fine tooth blades on a trim circular saw and a scroll saw. Once I perfected the pattern I transferred it to the plexi that I had masked on the top and bottom with masking tape. This is key to act as a heat sink so the cut plastic doesn't fuse back to itself. It cut real clean first pass, then I lightly sanded to clean it up.

Enjoy,
Steve
