Hey all, I'm trying to run down the rear number and Transmission number for my 69 corvette.... Where are they located on the bell housing and transmission? Doe anyone recommed a book, or website to use as reference?

Thanks!!!

The transmission stamping (assuming a 4spd) is located on passenger side main case, adjacent to where the tail housing meets. Example would look like P90225B

The rear assembly stamping is located on flat narrow surface on bottom of center section, adjacent to rear spring mount brace. Example would look like 1 AX 02 28 69 W

Acquire the 1969 STINGRAY GUIDEBOOK by Rick Bizzoco, either thru Corvette Central or Cranes Corvettes in San Diego, Ca.

Also pick up the Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide 1968, 1969 by the NCRS organization.
