I have a dilemna. I am not sure but think that the seats in my '72 are on the wrong side. Don't know if it's clear in this picture but looks like the horizontal slots in seatbacks are toward the center of the car on both seats. Additionally, how in the world do you feed the shoulder strap thru that stupid slot, it will not fit thru it! I have a feeling I will really feel dumb when I receive an answer to these questions. But oh well, like Moosie says...............Peace.
Aside from the shoulder belt slot, the seats are symmetric -
so no problem switching them to get even wear.
How to get the buckle through ? no idea ... maybe you need to take
the bezel off the seat to get 'em through.

I have a 70 with same seats and I pulled mine through by tying a string through the hole and starting it through that way. Pulling it the rest of the way was a little tricky, but it went....you might have diffrent buckles though, couldnt tell ya. Good luck
Yep, first of all the seats are reversed. So the driver's seat has to become the passenger's seat, etc.
How do you get the shoulder belt through the seat back slot? Your shoulder belt end clip probably has a little plastic moulding surrounding it. With this plastic molding present, you can't get the shoulder belt end clip through the headrest opening. Get a hair dryer and heat up the plastic molding (Ssnake-Oyl who manufactures repro/duplicate seat belts calls them "T-Shirts") When your T-Shirt is heated up, pull it off, insert it through the seat back opening, and then reinstall the T-Shirt.
Once you've pulled the shoulder belt through the seat back, the T-Shirt keeps it from slipping back out of the shoulder belt/seat back opening.

Know of anyone else that sells the T shirts???
Thanks!
