what is the newest model car you have on your Hagerty policy?
I am looking to buy a C4 for a driver (not daily) and want to be able to put it on my policy with my 71.
Years ago, I had my 88 coupe, then my 92 coupe, and finally my 2000 convertible (which I just sold a few months ago). I had my 3 old Corvettes insured with them all during that time.
Remember, however, that the same rules apply. No daily driver, mileage restrictions, must be garaged, etc.
Call Hagerty to be sure, but if you're planning to drive this car a lot, you're not going to get Collector Car rates. Chuck
When I considered buying a '91 ZR-1, they would insure it as a "special interest" vehicle for about $575/year. However, they wanted to make sure that I had a primary vehicle to drive and that the Vette would not be a daily driver.

everyone seems to get different rules from Hagerty, the only thing they told me was I had to have another car for every driver in the house to prove this was not a daily driver, and it had to be in a locked garage. no mileage restrictions at all and they would never check. it was also ok to drive it ocasionally, even if it was not to a show or event.

My speedo doesn't even work (well, sometimes it does) .... they couldn't verify milage even if they wanted to
I have several cars with Hagerty. My '89 Turbo Trans Am gets treated as an "Exotic", because it apparently isn't old enough. It's about twice the price I pay on my older cars, same restrictions.

They will insure it, but it wouldn't be cheaper than your other policy for your DD. All said and done, my 87 vette is on my Travlers policy.
they told me no today on a '93, said it was not old enough and exotics had to be valued at over 25K, I have my '71 with them. looks I am going shopping for new insurance
