dean, how did you spent your sunday in bkk?

at this time there is pretty depressing (for me), it's the end of the weekend, maybe it's raining and those white (neon) lights showing all those small shops owned by chinese/thai families closed and with the tiny ambulants food sellers going back to their out of town holes...

my favourite sunday night dinner is boiled chicken and rice, bought down in a nanlingchee road street shop and eaten at my home at the 19th floor...

dean, are you candidating yourself for deputy mod?

Hey, I got to disagree. I remember a thread three or four months ago that turtle didn't insult someone in.

it is indeed pretty good

specially if you eat the meal staying at the window, in the dark, looking down to a million lights mixed with the dark of a widen poverty and unjustice, meanwhile you feel there is a girl by you, but it's just a feeling because she hasnt volume or weight...only the smell of a full devotion

Had a great weekend Saturday was the Third annual Thai American Car club party. Rained around noon but stayed dry the rest of the day. There were two other vettes there, one 77 that was for sale for over a year and someone bought recently plus a 70 vert that the guy just recently painted black and redid the interior both had Chevy engines. Now there were lots of American cars there 80% with Japanese engines.

Today was a laid back day went to Fashion Island to see Casino Royal, It was a disappointment but WTH. BTW for those that don't know it but nanlingchee road is where the Italian embassy is located.

The best Italian food in BKK is LaOpera on Sukhumvit 39 owned by Rosano. It is one of the oldest Italian restaurants in BKK.
