My 77 4spd with 3.08 had a red one. I doubt it was orignal as it was off.
Spedo read 55 when I was doing 70.
I just replaced with a natural or white one. Haven't been able to check the reading yet though. I have a feeling I should have gone with the brown one. I better not have made it even further off.
