Help me identify this part!

Well, while I had 1/2 the dash apart today to replace a light bulb for the speedo, I came across this part. the only thing I can think of is that it might be a light buzzer, but wasn't sure if it was available in 73. Part number is 6262663. Any ideas? Thanks

Part #6262663 is labelled as a "buzzer - key warning" in the 1975 AIM (p.427). It is tucked in there on top of the speedo and tach, so I suspect it would have the same function in a '73.

Thanks. My guess wasn't too far off then. I thought it might be a buzzer if the headlights are left on. I know it doesn't work since I never hear any buzzing. Thanks again.
