Default Got some flags!

Hi all, finally got a set corvette flags emblem from eBay. Good deal only $2.99 and they are like new. I can't find anywhere in my assembly manual where a distance is given to mount. Can someone measure their's from the point of the hood opening to the cross of the flags. Mine is a 72 but I would imagine any with the chrome flags will mount the same. Thanks

At my 72 T-top it measures 270mm or 10.6 inches.....
Hope it helps....

Measured my 2 '71's both original paint cars. One measured 10 5/8's, the other 10 6/8's. I believe the differences are the result of how sharp or blunt the 'V' opening is on the front surround panel. Were only talking about 1/8th difference.

As the post above quotes metric. 10 6/8's equals 27 centimeters.

Good work. They look good on your car.

I left them off the nose of my car when I got it painted. When the car came home the holes were filled and I could not get myself to drill holes in the nose for some reason. Now it has been so long, I could not stick them back on.

Yep I saw the flags you gave away Zixxx (very nice) but I knew these were already in the mail from Georgia. I'm diggin around the Garage for some stuff, found a few things that might be ok. Love the Christmas thread!!
