Default What is this?
Anybody know what this disconnected linkage goes to? The cable goes up to a bracet on the steering column, but I am not sure what it does? The manuel I said only mentions a safety cable of some kind.

It allows you to remove your ignition key when the car is put into park (automatic) or reverse (standard trans.). Most times the cable binds up and is disconnected. Peace,,,Moosie

It locks the shifter when the ignition key is turned off. (Anti-theft)
