It's not officially the Stingray. It was posted in OT last week that from an inside source, that project was actually called the Corvette SS.

Different photos than the ones linked in the first post. They are not the same car in the two different articles. I can't find the real ones that were faked because they've been pulled from the sites hosting them.

The rear window surround has a C3 sail panel look to it. There are lots of good styling cues in this shot. I like it.
If THIS is what a new vette looked like ... I wouldn't waste my time with a C3.
