Power window 'clicking' noise

Power window 'clicking' noise
OK, the motor's on its way out anyway, but just recently it's started making this loud clicking sound when the window has been fully closed (almost as if a gear tooth is slipping). Thoughts? What needs replacing??

Sounds like the teeth on that part of the regulator are worn.
If that's the case, a new reg was $179 for my 68 a couple years ago from Corvette Central.
This happened on my 84 GMC, rather than find another reg at the junkyard, I pulled the reg and built up the area of the worn teeth with my welder, then shaped them with a Dremel grinder. Still works five years later
