Some months ago,I experimented with an "air dam-scoop" on my 78...just learned of a company that makes them for C4's/C5's...also,they added a pic of my version in their "testimonials"....I did not know they were doing that,as I just inquired about a their application to C3's..
Scroll down to pic #14...
If you need help from a patent attorney, I can recommend one. WB
I'm glad you brought that up...but I had no intention of getting a patent but I did contact Rubbermaid about purchasing their "reject" dust pan scoops a few months ago.....they told me they recycle them and don't sell them...(I was going to make some for friends who wanted them)..When I seen the "Bigmouth" ad,I asked them if they had a C3 version,as I was just curious how much they sold for...
Bottom line is,I learned quick that the metal one's are not a good idea on a C3...to easy to damage them...but the "rubber" version is very forgiving...and it does work...
I was surprised, however,to see my pic on their site this morning....so I'm not sure what..if anything I would do...

So I'm betting I will see pics of the scoop I produced soon.
They could have at least asked permission to use your pic.
I have learned one thing DON'T Post new Ideas In a public forum!!!!! Keep them secret until you have your idea patented.
I orignally posted mine here some time ago...just to share the idea...I had no intention of getting a patent as I'd rather spend the money improving my vettes...
They asked me where I got the idea after I sent them the pic's.....I told them it came out of experiments I've done with air flow over time with both my vettes over the years....
Chances are, they have a patent for their aluminum version..and at $230 a pop, anyone can make one for a fraction of that cost ... I did...
They are a forum supporting vendor...think they wanted to reference my comment/pic which is ok...I just did not know..and...they did did not answer my question re C3's....

Not sure exactly..maybe nothing....and I have a better idea than the "dust pan" version I made....(just comes down to material, and I've solved that..not metal,BTW)...my original intention was just sharing with C3 guys the idea (posted last August) ...I'll do some checking as now I'm very curious about a few things...

No issues,as my pics have been posted on this open forum anyway......just surprised it was done without my knowledge... Just so you know,we on the C3 forum occasionaly ask permision to use someones photo on another web site...I was use to that courtesy...

Per my IM to you it was an over site on my web designers part and
when I herd about it I took action to remedy the situation. I do respect
and agree with you , at first glance I thought you might be pleased with
the notion that we acknowledged your work and quoted you word for word , but my bad for that , thanks anyway !
