Can anyone recommend a good shop, preferably close to Albany, NY, to have my 71 Vette seat covers re-done?

Any Corvette clubs/fellow enthusiasts in your area? You could ask around and see who they use/like/prefer. A second option is to look into the upholstery service most of the aftermarket providers supply.

why not try doing it yourself, you'll be amazed at how easy it is and the satisfaction you will get out of it.

Tell that to my wife who abanded trying it several months ago. I'm hesitating on taking over cause she might show me up.

I'll do them for you, my wife gets pizzed off at me for sitting around now that the colder weather has arrived.
