Default Interior restoration by local shops???

I want to get my interior restored and converted to black from green. I need pretty much need everything anyway so I want to convert to black. I really don't want to mess with it my self so I am thinking of taking it to a vette shop for a full resto and AC repair. I know I am looking at some serious jack but.... what do you guys think something like that should cost with labor and everything? I mean I know there is no way to guesstimate how many hours it should take but.... just a ball park figure??

Here is what I am gonna need:
new dash pad, new seat covers, carpet, doorpanels, seat backs. Then re-dye everything else in the interior black. I know this is not the most cost effective way to restore the interior but, I want them to fix the ac at the same time so I figure when they pull the dash all apart, that would be the best time to replace everything and insulate everything at the same time.

What you guys think?

I think that its pretty hard for someone to even give you a ballpark price on what it would cost to have this done by a shop.
All I can tell you is that I just did this myself. It took a while but it came out great. With such a DIY mentaility on this forum I think that you will get more responses on how to do it vs. how much it will cost. Good luck..

Ya I was figuring around $3k or so. I contacted Corvettes of Houston as well as Houston Corvette service. They want me to bring it by for an estimate. I mean I could strip everything and probably re-dye the parts that need dying. My train of thought is that I want the AC fixed and I know they are going to have to go into the dash to do it. Plus I know they are going to have to basically remove everything in the dash(gauge etc) to dye the panels and I would be more comfortable with a shop that is familiar with vettes doing it. EVERYTHING works in the dash now and I am afraid if I tear it apart, I might not be able to get it all back together correctly. I also want them to install new speakers while the dash pad is off. I want everything insulated with dyna mat.

I am a DIY normally but on something like this, I think it would look better if the parts were dyed by professionals with paint sprayers, not me with rattle cans. LOL
