Default New C3 Owner! Got my '75 Vert

http://www.putfile.com/rstoomanyhobbies/images/62518

Orig. owner dressed up the engine but kept all the original parts thankfully. Other than the orig. seat leather being a little 'tired', it's ready to go!

Wha'da'ya'think?

Found my car!!! Bought it and it will be on an enclosed hauler this Saturday on its way to me! I think I'm more excited about this one than when I was buying my '04 Z16!

Bought from the Original owner - yep 1 owner, he only advertised it locally so it didn't get much attention w/ us vette nuts, 53K documented miles, vinyl hardtop and all the usual options (ac,pw/pb/tilt-tele/deluxe int/etc.) Car is from S. Calif. so no rust. Was disassembled and all body panels aligned 6-8 years ago with new paint, carpet, exhaust, new black top has never been up since then so no marks on the car where it fits nor has the car been driven wet since, hardtop never used - stored and just like new, L48 auto (yep, auto ), driven about 1K miles per year for past 6-8 years. It needs tires - they're like new but are 8 years old and from what I've read, though no cracks are visible, it's not good to go that long if you're going to drive the car.

A lucky google search found it just before the ad expired. I got it!

Tickled to be a C3 owner again!

Welcome to the club!

BTW, the Franklin Mint has a very close replica of your 75 Vert.

Just eliminate the L82 decals from the hood. And you are there complete with the code 56 yellow paint and the black vert top.

You could even paint the bell housing and trans a silver color and nobody but a Vette enthusiast would know the difference.

It looks like you got a great car.

Jim

Nice looking car. Should be lots of fun. I love the yellow and black combo, especially with the vinyl top. Enjoy the new toy.
